This series contains the legislative committee subject files from 1977 to 1978 of the Constitution Revision Commission. House Minority Leader, William G. "Bill" James, served as chairman of the Legislative Committee. The 1968 Constitution contains a continuous revision clause providing for the revision of the Constitution within the first ten years after approval, and a revision every twenty years thereafter (Article XI, Section 2). The Constitution specifies a thirty-seven member commission be selected to prepare revisions.
